Happy Holidays

I just posted 3 videos in the last day or so, please take a look at them.  I did an origami flower that I think you will love! It's easy and a great way to use up your scraps because you can mix the colors up. I've attached the link for you.
My son is in town from Philly and I had to squeeze in some video time but he didn't mind.  I may have him update my blog colors for me too, so you may see some changes soon.  We had a very early Christmas dinner this year but it was great.  I love spending time with my kids and grand-daughter.
I just wanted to say Happy Holidays to everyone and thank you for your support.  It means so much to me that you are watching my videos and reading my blogs.  Take Care and I will be back next year(haha) with even more videos and paper crafts for you! :>

FROM HALLOWEEN TO CHRISTMAS WITH ONE PATTERN!

The picture doesn't do these cute elf shoes justice!  The one on the right is stamped with craft ink and then glittered with Dazzling Diamonds. The shoe on the left is simple but great for kids!  Make someone feel special for the Holidays with unique wrapping!

RECYCLE YOUR COFFEE CREAMER CONTAINERS!

Since I drink so much coffee, I have lots of creamer containers.  So I made these for Halloween.  The Frankemstein  is made with 3 fringes glued to the container, then watch my video for the rest! The Mummy is torn Whisper White paper, sponged with Soft Suede ink.  Have fun!
Hi Everyone.

You may have noticed that I have been more consistent with my You Tube videos  lately.  There's a reason for it.  I am feeling so much better that now, I can also have some fun doing my crafts!!  I have an auto-immune disease and I have good days and bad days. But lately, because of a new Doctor(an Acupuncturist!), I am feeling on top of the World!

I hope you enjoy my tutorials.  If you create something and would like to share it, please send me a picture of it, and I will post it on my Blog for the World to see.

Thank you for watching my videos and offerring kind words for my artwork.  It is very encouraging to hear that my ideas are helpful in some way.....Have a Blessed Day! :>

Pumpkin Poop Box and Poem

Ok, so if you saw my You Tube video, you know how to make this cute Pumpkin and box!  Here is the funny little poem that goes inside the box. Don't forget to buy some candy corn for the "Pumpkin Poop"!

I started to carve a pumpkin
With my carving knife and scoop.
But the pumpkin got so scared,
He took a little poop.

It looked so cute and funny—
Just like a candy treat.
So I’m sharing it with you now,
Because you are so sweet.

Btw, I didn't come up with this idea, it's been floating around for years.  If anyone knows where it originated, please let me know and I will give credit for it.  Thanks a bunch.

Get ready for Halloween!

This card was shown on my recent You Tube video, so I thought I would post the card recipe!
I've been having fun with the Big Shot Swirly die cut made by Stampin' Up!  It makes everything look
so elegant! Plus, the Top Note Die cut is so versatile you will have to have it!

The Pumpkin is made with three wide scallop punches.  Watch my You Tube video for details.

Here's what I used: Pumpkin Pie cardstock for the pumpkin #105117, Olive green for the card base #100702, Whisper White #100730 cut with Top Note Die #113463, Garden Green cardstock #102584 cut with the Swirly Die #113456.  The Boho Flower punch #110711 was used for the flowers on the Swirls.  I used some scrap paper and buttons for embellishing. And Ta-Da! You're done.

If you make this card, let your imagination go wild, and send me a picture if you can! :>

Christmas Kitty Scrapbook Page

This is a picture of my Kitty, Jazz.  She's not too thrilled about having a hat on her head. So, I matched my saying to her little facial expression.  Hope you get a little giggle.

New My Digital Studio software!

Hi Everyone!
This is my first card using the new MDS software.  It's a Thank you card for all my viewers of my blog.  Thank you for visiting my site!
The software is pretty easy to use.  This is my second time using it. And believe me, I am not too computer savvy....even my blog is a MIRACLE! Hahaha Enjoy!

Fun Halloween Card

Hi everybody.

Here is a card I made today. I love the Twick or Tweet Stamp Set with this little chick! I also put some swirly Big Shot embellishments with a few rhinestones for a little razzle/dazzle. Hope you like it.

Ok, so here's what I did.  I used Kraft cardstock #102125 for the card base, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP #115675, Dusty Durango for the Matt Cardstock #115321, For the large scallop - Basic Gray Cardstock #108692, and Glossy White Cardstock #102599.  I used Jet Black Stazon Ink #101406, the ribbon is Crushed Curry #115614, and of course the Swirly Die Cut #113456.

If you don't have this Die Cut, you will want to get it because it is so versatile and dainty.  I love it.  Hope you like it, let me know if you have any questions, and if you'd like to order anything, just go to my store at http://Pinkscrapper.stampinup.net.  Thank you! Take care everyone!

Labor Day Update

Hope everyone had a relaxing day today. I did a little cleaning and relaxing with my hubby. I am trying to get two new videos up on You Tube but since I am not a computer whiz, it takes me some time. I did try a new video camera but I didn't like it, so I returned it. So, if you know of one that is good for You Tube, drop me a line. Once I get the hang of it, I will be more consistent. But, honestly it takes me a while....Sorry, don't give up on me just yet! I am also heading out for some R & R for a week but I will be back refreshed and ready to rock! TTYS

Making jewelry

I'm so excited to have tried this project. I used alcohol inks to make this cool necklace. You will need Ranger Inks alcohol ink. I dropped a dab of ink onto a cotton ball and dabbed it onto the glass square (also Ranger Ink). For this project, I used three colors of ink, and let dry. I stamped an image onto colored cardstock, placed it between another clear glass square, then sealed it with the coordinating 1/4" foil. I glued a metal jewelry piece to the back using E6000 glue. Then, ran a piece of leather cording through the back. Looks super cool. Try it. :>

Stamping on Suede

Hi everyone, you will never guess what I stamped on....Suede! I wasn't sure if it could be done but the stamped image came out pretty good. To do this, I misted the right side of the suede, placed it misted side down onto my stamp. Then, you iron it for 10-20 seconds. I moved the iron around slowly so I wouldn't shift the suede. Plus, I've heard that if there are steam holes in the iron, you don't want the holes to show in your fabric. After you remove the iron, you will have a beautiful pressed image in your fabric. You can do this with velvet too.
This particular item is for my super fantastic roommate at the upcoming SU convention.....

Update

Are you in love with cupcakes? This was a goody bag I made using a cricut cartridge template. I made the cupcake and glued it to an envelope I made into a small paper bag. Stay tuned for tutorial. Also, I've been making Altered Books. I am officially hooked on Multi-Media art. I had fun adding my lace, buttons, and all sorts of gadgets to my pages. You can see a sample here on my blog.
