Hi everyone,
Please bear with me as I make some changes to my blog site. My daughter has kindly been helping me with colors and organization. I have posted 3 new videos on You Tube, so be sure to check them out and see what I have been up to. Thank you!

Making jewelry
I'm so excited to have tried this project. I used alcohol inks to make this cool necklace. You will need Ranger Inks alcohol ink. I dropped a dab of ink onto a cotton ball and dabbed it onto the glass square (also Ranger Ink). For this project, I used three colors of ink, and let dry. I stamped an image onto colored cardstock, placed it between another clear glass square, then sealed it with the coordinating 1/4" foil. I glued a metal jewelry piece to the back using E6000 glue. Then, ran a piece of leather cording through the back. Looks super cool. Try it. :>
Stamping on Suede
Hi everyone, you will never guess what I stamped on....Suede! I wasn't sure if it could be done but the stamped image came out pretty good. To do this, I misted the right side of the suede, placed it misted side down onto my stamp. Then, you iron it for 10-20 seconds. I moved the iron around slowly so I wouldn't shift the suede. Plus, I've heard that if there are steam holes in the iron, you don't want the holes to show in your fabric. After you remove the iron, you will have a beautiful pressed image in your fabric. You can do this with velvet too.
This particular item is for my super fantastic roommate at the upcoming SU convention.....

Update
Are you in love with cupcakes? This was a goody bag I made using a cricut cartridge template. I made the cupcake and glued it to an envelope I made into a small paper bag. Stay tuned for tutorial.
Also, I've been making Altered Books. I am officially hooked on Multi-Media art. I had fun adding my lace, buttons, and all sorts of gadgets to my pages. You can see a sample here on my blog.
