Too early for Christmas?

Hi Everyone, Hope your week is starting off well !! So, I have been doing videos for www.AllFreeChristmasCrafts.com since the beginning of this year, and viewers were telling me that it was too early to think about Christmas....well....it's JUNE, and suddenly, I don't think it is too early to start anymore!! Plus, I have heard of some people who shop for Christmas gifts ALL YEAR LONG(like me!). So, if you can start on gifts early, why not? I for one, have always waited until the last minute to MAKE gifts, but not this year! I will have them all made early! So, below is a photo of an Altered, Upcycled Charger Plate I bought at my local thrift store.  I really like how it came out and hope you do too!! Watch for the video on my You Tube Channel.

Oldies but Goody Days....

Since I have been crafting for so long, it's fun to remember an old technique and use today's fabulous papers and products. I remember when I first started cardmaking, there weren't very many colors or patterns of paper. So, we used lots of different techniques to change a solid piece of cardstock to give it a fun look. Do you remember those days? Today, there are so many colors, and patterns of paper that we have endless options! Anyhow, in this video, I show you how to make an oldie but goodie pop-up card. Hi Everyone! If you follow me on Facebook, you know that Kayleigh graduated from Kindergarten! It was such a proud moment for me to see how she has grown from a tiny baby to a confident young girl. She has learned how to speak Chinese at her school, and learned to count and read!

Spring Has Sprung !!

Hi Everyone !

I've been so busy lately...Kayleigh and I planted some vegetable seeds a few weeks back and now they are GROWING ! I have to admit that I am just about excited as Kayleigh to see them grow, as I have never thought of myself as having a GREEN thumb !! I thought it was important to teach Kayleigh how to plant things. So, we got some fertilizer and seeds and we planted them in those small starter pots. Everytime she comes over she reminds me to water them, and checks on their status. It's so cute!!
